Exactly what it sounds like. If you complete all the assigned work, implement my feedback and do not get a 40+ raw study score, you will get a full refund. Any student in the full-year Academy or VIP programs can opt-in if they meet the threshold mark on the eligibility test (this is not particularly difficult and mainly there to assess student work ethic)

There are several graded assessments to be done throughout the year. To remain eligible for the guarantee, you must achieve an average score of 80% or higher across all assessments. Students who are putting in the work should have no trouble with this.

If your study score is less than a raw 40, but you meet the conditions above, the student is eligible for a full refund of the tuition fees. I reserve the right to final interpretation of the terms and conditions stipulated above.

Generally, all classes are online and run via Zoom.

Private clients and academy programs specific to a particular school have in-person options (Monash Clayton Library or my home in the outer Eastern suburbs), but most opt for online.

Yes, anyone can sign up! But please note that this is a high-performance program. If a student is not a great fit (e.g. workload too high) we might look at moving them to a different program.

I have never dropped an underperforming student, but I cannot in good conscience keep a student in a high performance program when they need better fundamentals and a slower pace.

Around August/September, I choose some of my highest-achieving and hardest-working students who are aiming for a raw 50. These students will receive complimentary weekly bonus 1:1 tutoring leading up to the exam.

Students from all programs are eligible.

You need to inform me at the earliest opportunity, so I can try to place you in a different class if possible that week. Failing that, Academy students are expected to access the recording.

All students are expected to catch up on missed classwork and homework, and submit all work requirements.

Academy students naturally have 1:1 access to me via direct messages and during my scheduled bookable window. Together we will work through any problem areas you’re struggling with.

Absolutely, but this will naturally require more work in the early days to catch up. I’d love to help.

Fair question, as even I didn’t receive tutoring myself. But it meant that I personally had to discover how to get the study score I needed for the ATAR I wanted - remember, VCE English Language is in your top 4. It’s the fastest way to kill your ATAR.

All that time I spent learning the ins and outs of VCE English Language was time I could have spent on my other subjects. With the right tutoring, you will have the most efficient path to your optimal result, so you can get the best ATAR you can.
